TK Elevator Cleaning System

TK Elevator recently received the prestigious Red Dot Design Award for its innovative “Intelligent Elevator Cleaning System,” a concept developed by TK Elevator Korea. This marks the fifth Red Dot Award for TK Elevator since becoming an independent company in 2020.

The cleaning system is designed to operate autonomously using AI to detect when the elevator is not in use. It then deploys a floor-cleaning device that is powered by regenerated energy from the elevator itself, ensuring continuous and efficient cleaning without disturbing passengers. The device integrates seamlessly into the elevator’s kickplate area, remaining unobtrusive when not in use. This design is particularly relevant in the post-pandemic world, where maintaining a clean environment is more critical than ever.

This recognition highlights TK Elevator’s ongoing commitment to innovation and customer-centric design, particularly in its efforts to enhance safety, convenience, and overall passenger experience
